cypop A highly original EP, melting together doom metal and desert rock, with an inch of death and even black metal in the vocals... You could think it will never work at all, but it works soooo fucking good ! Favorite track: Tomb.

Filamentis 04:20
We are all one. Some background: "*Filaments (of galaxies): the largest known structures in the universe, consisting of walls of gravitationally bound galaxy superclusters. These massive, thread-like formations can reach 80 megaparsecs h−1 (or of the order of 160 to 260 million light-years[3][4]) and form the boundaries between large voids. ... Minor-planet designation 90377 Sedna) is a dwarf planet in the outer reaches of the Solar System that is in the innermost part of its orbit; as of 2022 it is 84 astronomical units (AU), or 1.26×1010 km, from the Sun, almost three times farther than Neptune. Spectroscopy has revealed that Sedna's surface composition is largely a mixture of water, methane, and nitrogen ices with tholins, similar to those of some other trans-Neptunian objects. Its surface is one of the reddest among Solar System objects." "A song to Sedna, the great mother of all the sea creatures. She controls the storms on the sea and governs the migration of her myriads of children. This song is sung for the shaman when he goes into a trance and his soul journeys under the sea to find Sedna in order to pray and make requests on behalf of the people. The song is repeated over and over until the shaman's soul returns to his body. The shaman then sings a magical song recounting what Sedna had told him, and the people act in accordance with her wishes." Featuring chants from: "Cherokee Morning Song" A song that asks the spirits of the earth and sky, thus weave for us a garment of brightness that we may walk in beauty where the birds sing." The part aubout sedna (the celestial object) and the filaments is from wikipedia. Unfortunately I can't find the source form the original researcher of native american songs for the life of me-_-

Tomb 04:30
Fate evolving Dreams dissolving The disadvantage of being From being free To ceasing to be Not in vain...? The pages you didn’t read And If it’s all for nothing? As if words could change a thing From the womb to the tomb The truth is hard to consume Wish you hadn’t been born (at all) now that you know Chosing how to live a life you didn’t choose From the womb to the tomb Let life rain over you Sometimes it’s hard to endure A witness to what life would be like without you Wearing a face, like an open grave Shallow and dead. Why can’t we change... Looking back with regrets The effect on this mortal coil Close your eyes , hope they stay shut Digging a whole, embracing the soil And wait for deliverance The mind is cruel horrid place to be in You remain in spite of the platitudes, life throws at you The more and the fewer... ...amenities they had There’s that hook in the final chapter of this tome The living aren’t more alive than the dead

There’s a certain space in your head, like black spot, rotten and dead Pervasive and dangerous to the point that you believe what it says If it’s not for the dopamine rushing through the system at alarming rates You are walking into the fangs of a trap leeching on your mental state There’s a certain level of greatness not enshrined in the words of yore Though the end is not the end and the end is not all Think you are failing to succeed? Open the vein and bleed Stop trying trying to stop stop trying trying to stop trying Open your eyes and see Seamingly hidden as the the world remains deaf and blind to the plain below Some things come to those, it seems, Who don’t crave what they crave Once life shows ist face and you fall for its lies, it has you enslaved to its kind The sharper the edge of the blade the lesser the pain becomes And In the end it’s not even sad that a hundred thousand days of your life have been spend ...Turned to shit The connections we’re trying to make For the sake of the words we share are just grains in the sand Open your mind and feel Stop trying Trying to stop stop trying trying to stop trying Cut loose the ties to be

Flesh decays
  Ideas and ideals
  Vaporise
  Memento mori
  It’s the soul that stays
  Diminishing only in pain
  This is no ordinary world
  And results may vary
  Coming in waves
  Flushing away
  Fire at will
  Venturing inward
  Nurture the fibres
  This is freedom
 The horrors
  Of a moment in time
  But a cenotaph
  What was does not define...
It does not come from peers,
  Nor places, nor things
  It’s coming from within
  All else does not define...
How can one wield such power
  Perish my past
Thyne is the pain and it’s yours alone to detach
 The failures we endure
  Won’t define our course
  Yesterdays corpse arise
Pushing and pulling gouging out your eyes
 Setting the pyre ablaze
  Scattering the ashes of remembrance
  To feel alive
  You first must die
    Finding a balance
  In an era of indulgence
If it needs gods to end the suffering
 Suppliments to remedy PTSD
Sever the paths of the cerebral
  Becoming unshakable

about

As the title suggests, GRAVESIDE SERVICE sings a swansong of a failed life form and the ways in which it suspends itself out of the orbit of an otherwise bright system with more potential and hope than it receives credit for. Nevertheless. A glimmer of hope remains, when closing the eyes, thinking that the living learn from the deceased. May it instill some food for thought into the mind of the listener.
Being rather blunt and less optimistic than other RG offerings, GRAVESIDE SERVICE stands on its own as a short excursion into the abyss of the human experience. Where all is doomed in one way or another. Either to endure,or to diminish...

Handmade by yours truly.
